We are pleased to be offering both Virtual and In-Person Career Fairs for Spring 2022!

Register for all fairs on Handshake, the same place you go for posting jobs, events, and accessing resumes.

In-Person Career Fair Logistic Information 

Time: 1-5pm 

Location:Illini Union,  1401 West Green Street, Urbana 

Company Representatives: Please note each registration includes up to 2 representatives.

Parking: Each company can add ONE complimentary parking spot to their career fair registration. Please revisit your Handshake registration to add if you have not already done so. 

Campus Health & Safety Protocols: Kindly note that the COVID-19 situation remains fluid and plans may change in the interest of public health. For more information on health and safety protocols at UIUC visit: https://covid19.illinois.edu/ 

Supplies:  Information will be provided closer to date, including details on inbound and outbound shipping.  

Interviews: Next day interviews can be requested on Handshake for February 9-11, 2022. Only companies attending the in-person career fair will be approved for interview space on these days. You will be allowed to request up to 2 interview spaces.  The last day to request interview space is February 1st. Employers may also return to campus to conduct interviews during our general on-campus recruiting season from February 14th- May 5th, 2022.  Requests may be submitted through Handshake under the Interviews tab.

Major Meet-Ups: Week of January 31st (virtual)

Are you targeting a specific engineering discipline for your internships and full time jobs? Don’t miss the Major Meet-Ups where you can brand your organization and share career information ahead of the fair. These virtual events will help students explore and prepare for meeting you at the fair so that your one-on-one meetings at the fair are more focused and productive! Register on Handshake!

DEI Networking Reception: 4:00 – 6:00pm, February 7 (in-person, Illini Union)

Meet undergraduate students involved with the Morrill Engineering, Women in Engineering and ARISE programs. This event is being held in the late afternoon/early evening prior to the in-person career fair. Register on Handshake as an add-on to your in-person career fair registration! Cost to participate: $350

Honors/Scholars Networking Breakfast: 9:00 – 11:00am February 8 (in-person, Illini Union)

Looking for exceptionally talented students for your workforce? Come meet James Scholars, GFX Scholars, and Chancellor Scholars at our networking event Tuesday, February 8 from 9-11 am over breakfast ahead of the career fair. Seize the opportunity! Register on Handshake as an add-on to your in-person career fair registration. Cost to participate: $350

Reverse Career Fair: 12:00 – 2:00 pm February 7 (in-person, Illini Union)

The Reverse Career Fair is an event hosted by the student Engineering EXPO committee, and provides an opportunity to learn about various engineering student organizations and find ways to partner and support these groups. Register online.

*This outreach opportunity is solely reserved for those companies that are registered for at least one career fair, with a fee of $50 paid to the EXPO student organization.

Virtual Resumania: Register to review students’ resumes prior to the Grainger Engineering Career Fair.  Schedule 1:1 sessions to review resumes and help students practice their elevator pitch.  Register on Handshake!
