Fall 2022 Engineering Career Fair Information

We are pleased to be offering both Virtual and In-Person Career Fairs for Fall 2022!

Register for all fairs on Handshake, the same place you go for posting jobs, events, and accessing resumes.

In-Person Career Fair Logistic Information

Company Representatives: Please note each registration includes up to 2 representatives.

Parking: Each company can add ONE complimentary parking spot to their career fair registration. Please revisit your Handshake registration to add if you have not already done so.

Supplies:  Information will be provided closer to date, including details on inbound and outbound shipping.  However, we strongly encourage you to limit shipping and limit giveaway items.

Interviews: When you meet that perfect Grainger Engineering candidate, you want to interview them as soon as possible! ECS is here to help! Interview space will be available as follows:

  • Day After Interviews – September 14th and 15th from 8am – 5pm. Please schedule your 1st interview no earlier than 8:30 am and no later than 4:30 pm.
  • On Campus Interviews – September 20th through December 8th from 8am – 5pm. Please schedule your 1st interview no earlier than 8:30 am and no later than 4:30 pm.
  • Please visit the “On Campus Interviews” page in Handshake to request your “room only” interview space. With “room only” space, you are in control of your own schedule and are free to use the platform of your choice.

CONTACT US FOR CAREER FAIR SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS. There are a limited number of conference rooms and larger booth spaces available on a first-come basis. If you tend to have large lines or need space for additional company representatives, these are excellent options for you.

ADDITIONAL STUDENT OUTREACH BENEFITS (available to career fair participants)

The following are available to companies participating in at least one of the Fall 2022 career fair events:

*Branding Days: The week prior to the career fair through the end of September, host a outdoor event under the tent on the patio of Engineering Hall. No cost for registered in-person Career Fair companies.

*Major Meet-Ups: Have the opportunity to participate in video meetings with students by majors. This career exploration program is designed to help prepare students for the career fair so that students can have more knowledgeable and meaningful conversations with you during the fair! No cost for registered career fair companies.

*Workshops: Back by popular demand! Help with virtual resume critiques through the Resumania program! Additional workshop/career fair preparation topics also available.

DEI Reception: Monday, September 12th, 3-5pm Cost: $350. Informal networking event for employers to meet with underrepresented students in engineering through the Morrill Engineering Program, ARISE program and Women in Engineering programs.

Honors Breakfast: Tuesday, September 13th, 9-11am Cost: $350. Informal networking event for employers to meet with Grainger Engineering Honors students recognized for their excellent through the James Scholars, Chancellor Scholars and First Year Experience (GFX) scholar programs.

Graduate Student Breakfast: Wednesday, September 14th, 9-11am. Informal networking event for employers seeking Professional Master’s and PhD students.

Reverse Career Fair: Monday, September 12th, 12-2pm Cost: $50. Informal ‘meet and greet’ with up to 20 Grainger Engineering student organizations. This is a great opportunity to meet the student leaders, learn how you can support their initiatives, and build partnerships for talent pipelines. Please click here to register.
